DeltaSec
is an exclusive new release. It is a scented dryer litter conditioner for use in stables and horse-boxes while in transit. DeltaSec is made from natural ingredients, and is more economical and absorbent than other leading brands.
DeltaSec’s main strength lies in its powers of absorbency. It has the capacity to absorb between 2 and 3 litres of water per kilo of white powder, while other leading brands manage less than half of this volume. This makes DeltaSec more economical in two respects – firstly, its ability to absorb water helps to reduce the amount of other types of bedding (straw, sawdust) that need to be used with it, and secondly, less DeltaSec itself is needed to do the same job as a competitor product.
DeltaSec also takes part in keeping horses healthy in other ways besides its absorbency. Its essential oils of Eucalyptus and Camphor scent and purify the air to reduce the possibility of respiratory disorders and prevent the production of bacteria that can be harmful to the health of the horse. Extracts of Yucca are also included in DeltaSec’s composition to help neutralise ammonia in the atmosphere, and DeltaSec also helps to repel insects which may cause harm to the horse. DeltaSec’s non-toxic status also ensures that there is no risk of illness to the horse if the product should be swallowed, and because DeltaSec takes on a granulated form when saturated, there is no risk of the horse slipping and becoming injured on a wet floor.
DeltaSec is also an environmentally friendly product, as it is phosphorus-free and biodegradable. It can be safely spread without gloves or other equipment, and once it has been saturated and takes on its granular form, it can be easily disposed of.
F.A.Q.
What exactly is DeltaSec?

DeltaSec should be spread directly onto litter. No gloves or equipment are required for this – DeltaSec spreads with hands. Once spread, DeltaSec will mix with the litter when the horse tramples it in.
What are the main benefits of DeltaSec?
Aside from its easy application, DeltaSec can soak up liquid at a rate of between 2 and 3 litres per kilo of powder – more than twice the volume of liquid absorbed by the same amount of other competitor products. DeltaSec is also conditioned with essential oils of Eucalyptus and Camphor which help to purify the air and prevent the production of bacteria, as well as Yucca extracts which help to neutralise harmful ammonia in the atmosphere. DeltaSec also helps to repel insects, does not contain phosphorus, is non-toxic and even edible, and once saturated DeltaSec takes on a granulated form which makes disposal easy and reduces bedding costs.
How much DeltaSec should I use and when?
For horses living in stables, the recommended usage is 50 grams per square metre twice a week. The amount of DeltaSec used for horses in horse-boxes may vary.
Does DeltaSec pose any health or safety risks to people?
DeltaSec is non-toxic and therefore is not a health risk should it be accidentally ingested. It is not flammable and as such poses no fire risk, is non-irritant to human skin and therefore poses no handling risk, and is non-reactive, meaning that it carries no chemical or biological risks. If the product comes into contact with the eyes of a person, rinse thoroughly with clean water. It is not dangerous to inhale, although since it is a powder, inhalation can be uncomfortable and is therefore not recommended.
Does DeltaSec pose any storage or transport issues?
